Is using a 'One Call' System, as part of the Standard, a voluntary control or mandated? Some state regulations do not have 'One Call' mandated.
(James Czornohalan) Not sure about state rules, but they work pretty well where they are available. My advice is, if you have the option of joining a one call system - do it.
(Susan Jaques) The use of One-Call services is not mandated by the Standard. It is true that the Act/Regulations are not consistent. In NSW, it is mandatory by regulations, but One-Call Services are not mandatory in other states.
